Campings, Ireland Ireland has every type of campsite imaginable. The Irish love to go camping. It’s perfect for the family and kids. With the recent tourist boom, campsites have become even more popular. More and more people are coming to Ireland each year and choosing to stay in a campsite as opposed to the more traditional hotels and hostels. It’s the best way of getting close to this amazingly green countryside and stunning landscape.
The best time to go camping in Ireland is of course during the summer months. Remember May and June are the driest. Having said that, it’s possible to go camping in Ireland all year round - many people do, just make sure you tent is water-proof!
Irish campsites and touring parks provide first class facilities; as good, if not better than most places in Europe. |
